My name is Adam Crozier, a Chartered Civil Engineer looking for a company to buy and run. I founded Ardmore Ridge to serve as the vehicle for this next chapter: a focused, values-driven venture into business ownership.I am originally from Northern Ireland and over the past 12 years, I have been fortunate enough to pursue a rewarding career as a leader within the construction industry and build other businesses alongside. However, now is the time for my next venture; to acquire, nurture and develop a stable, profitable business in the UK or Ireland.Right now, I'm looking to connect with both:

About Me
I am married to the wonderful Alice and we live together with our 3 beautiful young children. My wife has her own successful small business providing leadership coaching to Founders and leadership teams in SMEs.Growing up in Northern Ireland, I learned the value of community and a strong family unit and developed a passion for the outdoors and natural world. I grew up with an entrepreneurial role model who valued relationships, dedication and integrity and these examples continue to influence my own ambitions, to this day.Following my childhood and education in Northern Ireland, I moved to gain my Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from Cardiff Universrity.In 2013, armed with my degree, I set out to launch my career in engineering, construction and project management. Over the proceeding 12 years I progressed to hold management and leadership roles across groundbreaking projects including the largest construction project in Europe, international award-winning earthquake recovery scheme in New Zealand and the first nuclear power station in the UK in 30 years. I have held direct responsibility for $23m budget and led departments of up to 70 persons. Aside from direct operations and project management, I have spent time pricing, tendering and negotiating contracts.Alongside my full time work on delivering major infrastructure, I have also built property development and investment and engineering consultancy businesses.I have always had a passion for adventure, from a young age. This passion has endured and grown with me and now exists firmly as one of my personal values, along with autonomy. This next endeavour to acquire and run a successful company is rooted to these values. This new entity of Ardmore Ridge represents me, my personal values and my ambitions.Outside of work and family, I have a passion for skiing, climbing, hiking and all things outdoors, adventure and mountains.
My Approach
Whilst my career in engineering has been rewarding, I became frustrated with the hyper-specialism required and the limit to autonomy and influence which logically exists, when working with multi-national corporates and £multi-billion projects.Instead of continuing down a predictable path towards a construction executive career and retirement, I decided to seek out more entrepreneurial objectives; namely finding a company I could own and run myself.I am looking to buy a business with approximately £0.5-5 million in sales where I can put my experience, skills and determination to work.I would love to be able to build an enterprise which brings social benefit to all stakeholders - shareholders, staff, customers and the wider local community.
